Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Round 9 most important game was a victory of Tigers over 5th ranked Kepler 76-54 on Wednesday night. Tigers outrebounded Kepler 48-32 including a 35-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for DR Congolese center Pitchou Kambuyi (208-1988) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 25 rebounds. American swingman David Nickelberry (201-1998, college: Buffalo) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. The former international power forward Elie Kaje (198-1995) answered with 7 points and 8 rebounds for Kepler. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tigers (4-5) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with UGB. Kepler lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. They share it with Orion. Tigers' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kigali to the arena REG.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Kigali: Azomco (#8) and UGB (#4). Azomco (2-7) won against visiting UGB (4-5) 71-59. American guard Damaria Franklin (190-1999, college: Memphis) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Richard Bizimungu chipped in 16 points and 14 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Burundian center Mohamed Doumbya (-1997) with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. UGB's coach Yves Murenzi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Azomco maintains eighth place with 2-7 record. UGB at the other side keeps the fourth position with five games lost. They share it with Tigers. Azomco's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kigali to the arena APR.
