Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Kigali: APR (#2) and EA Univ (#5). EA Univ was crushed at home by 60 points 43-103 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It was a good game for the former international center Charlotte Umugwaneza (195-1984) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds. Kamba Diakite contributed with 29 points and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Ange Uwiringiyimana answered with 12 points for EA Univ. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
The game in Kigali supposed to be also quite interesting. GSMRR (1-2) played at the court of The Hoops (1-1). The Hoops smashed GSMRR 55-33 on Saturday. It was a great evening for Vestine Tuyisenge who led her team to a victory scoring 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was Rachel Gikundiro with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Other games of round 3 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Kepler crushed UR BBC in Kigali 105-41. Winless UR Kigali lost to defending champion REG at home 30-137. Azomco destroyed UR BBC on the opponent's court 73-50.
