Al Nassr inks Keisha Hampton

Keisha Hampton

Al Nassr (D1) agreed terms with experienced 34-year old USA-Rwandan forward Keisha Hampton (185cm-77kg-1990, college: DePaul). She was second best scorer at Villeneuve D'Ascq ESB Lille Metropole in French LFB league. In 5 games she had 9.0ppg, 2.8rpg, 1.6apg and 1.4spg.
The previous (2022-23) season she played at another French team Landerneau Bretagne Basket in France. She also played for Passalacqua Ragusa (Serie A1) in Italian league.
In 2012 she was drafted by Seattle Storm (WNBA) in second round (22nd overall).
Hampton graduated from De Paul University and it will be her 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball.
She represented USA at the World University Games in Hamptonnzhen (China) thirteen years ago. Hampton's team won Gold and she had over 4 points per game.
She is quite experienced player. Hampton has played also professionally in Germany (Saarlouis), Israel (Hertzliya), Italy, Latvia, Poland (Polkowice), Spain (Girona) and WNBA (Connecticut Sun, Minnesota Lynx and Chicago Sky).
Among many awards her team made it to the Italian Supercup Final Four in 2023. She was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Polish EBLK Import Player of the Year back in 2021.
