APR - GSMRR 96-65

APR dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to GSMRR's 38. They outrebounded GSMRR 64-25 including a 26-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. APR players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by GSMRR's players. DR Congolese Feza Ebengo (-1999) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and the former international center Charlotte Umugwaneza (195-1984) chipped in 12 points and 13 rebounds. At the losing side forward Brigitte Nibishaka (175-2006) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and Yvonne Muhawenimana (-2006) scored 18 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

REG - Kepler 107-45

REG forced 28 Kepler turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 51.5 percentage. REG looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Kepler's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Kristina Uking who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds. The former international point guard Rosine Micomyiza (162-1995) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Five REG players scored in double figures. REG's coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gbenakpon Keita answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Nelly Nsanzabaganwa (-1995) added 9 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Kepler.
