Senegal has kept the perfect record at the 2026 World Cup Pre-Qualifiers. They silenced the hosts in Kigali in front of 7,023 Rwanda fans to beat them 68-65 in the semifinal clash.
Rwanda opened the game with a 23-15 run and led 7 points at the halftime. The guests meanwhile dominated the third period with a massive 25-12 run to seal the win.
Yacine Diop (178-G/F-1995, college: Louisville) stepped up with 15 points and Ndioma Kane (190-F-1999) poured in 14. Sifa Ineza (180-G-2002) replied with 21 points in the losing effort.
