Nelly Nsanzabaganwa's triple-double lands her Player of the Week award

Nelly Nsanzabaganwa (PG-1995) had a very impressive game in the last round for Kepler BBC Kigali and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 20.
The 29-year old playmaker recorded a triple-double of 20 points adding also 13 rebounds and 12 assists, while her team was edged out by The Hoops (#7, 7-11) 79-77. Kepler maintains the 4th position in Rwandan D1. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Kepler will need to avoid more loses keep or improve their 11-7 record. In the team's last game Nsanzabaganwa had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for her as usually she does not deliver so high stats. Nsanzabaganwa has impressive league stats. She is league's best passer with 7.9apg. Nsanzabaganwa is in league's top in and averages solid 3.1spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Rebecca Cyuzuzo (2007) of The Hoops Kigali. Cyuzuzo impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 14 points and 14 rebounds. Of course she led The Hoops to another comfortable win outscoring UR BBC (#10, 0-18) 82-39. The Hoops' 7th position in the standings has not changed. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-11 record. Cyuzuzo is a newcomer at The Hoops and despite she is not a team leader yet, every game she becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

The third best performed player last round was another The Hoops' star - international center Jane Dusabe (C-2005). Dusabe showcased her all-around game by recording 11 points, 31 rebounds (!!!) and 6 assists in the last round. She was another key player of The Hoops Kigali, helping her team with a 79-77 win against the higher-ranked Kepler (#4, 11-7). The chances of The Hoops not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 11 games, recording just seven victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Dusabe could try to bring The Hoops' a little bit higher in the standings. Dusabe has individually a great season in Rwanda. After 18 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.1ppg (3rd best) and rebounds with 18.2rpg (#1 in league). She also has 3.2spg and 2.1bpg.
