CAB Estepona Jardin de la Costa del Sol (LF Challenge) added 23-year-old Rwandan international forward Hope Butera (190cm-2001) to their roster for the new 2024-25 season. She recently graduated from Idaho (NCAA). Butera averaged 9.0ppg, 8.2rpg, 1.1apg, and 1.0bpg in 14 games last season.
She started her college career at South Georgia Technical College (JUCO) before transferring to Florida International University (NCAA).
As mentioned above, she is just out of college and it will be her first full season as a pro.
Butera has been a member of the Rwandan international program for some years. She has regularly played for the Rwandan senior team since 2019 and previously for the Under 18 National Team in 2018.
Butera also represented Rwanda at the WBI Championship Quarterfinals last year. She played for other colleges such as Florida International University and South Georgia Technical College.
