Assouma Uwizeye gets MVP of the Week award for Rwandan D1 (by Hoops Agents)

International Center Assouma Uwizeye (182-C-1996) had a great game in the last round for league's leader APR BBC Kigali and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 27-year old center had a double-double of 32 points and 11 rebounds, while her team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team UR BBC (#10, 0-13) with 93-point margin 135-42. It allowed APR to jump to the first place in the Rwandan D1. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is already in a full swing and APR still have not lost a single game, getting all 11 victories. Uwizeye has many years of experience at APR, through which she has constantly improved. Uwizeye has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (5th best: 18.1ppg), rebounds (5th best: 13.6rpg) and averages solid 2.3spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another APR's star - American forward Taylor Hosendove (188-F). Hosendove impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 28 points and 14 rebounds. Of course together with Uwizeye she helped APR BBC Kigali with another comfortable win outscoring UR BBC (#10, 0-13) 135-42. This victory allowed APR to move up to 1st position in the standings. She plays for the best team in the league and APR managed to win all 11 games keeping a perfect record. Hosendove is one of the most experienced players at APR and similarly like Assouma Uwizeye has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Gbenakpon Keita of Kepler BBC Kigali (#4). Keita scored 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Kepler, leading her team to a 79-45 easy win against the lower-ranked UR Kigali (#9, 1-12). Keita has a very solid season. In 2 games in Rwanda she scored 14.0ppg.

10. Stacy Usanase (173-F-2003) of APR - 8 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
