Uwiringiyimana's double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Ange Uwiringiyimana put on an amazing game in the last round for GS Gahini and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
She had a double-double of 23 points and 21 rebounds, while her team beat The Hoops (#6, 4-6) 70-64. Gahini maintains the 7th position in Rwandan D1. Gahini is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-7 record. Uwiringiyimana turned to be Gahini's top player in her first season with the team. Ange Uwiringiyimana averages this season 13.9ppg and 13.8rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Jane Dusabe (C-2005) of The Hoops. She is international center in her first season at The Hoops. In the last game Dusabe recorded an impressive double-double of 30 points and 20 rebounds. Bad luck as The Hoops lost that game 64-70 to slightly lower-ranked Gahini (#7, 4-7). The Hoops managed to keep the same 6th spot in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-6 record. Dusabe is one of the most experienced players at The Hoops and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.0ppg (#4). Third place about best performers goes to forward Sandrine Mushikiwabo (182-PF-1995) of league's leader REG BBC Kigali. Mushikiwabo scored 17 points and grabbed 8 rebounds.
