Dusabe's double-double lands her Player of the Week award

18-year old center Jane Dusabe (C-2005) had a great game in the last round for The Hoops and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 9.
She had a double-double of 26 points and 26 rebounds, while her team outclassed UR Kigali (#9, 1-9) with 58-point margin 93-35. The Hoops maintains the 6th position in Rwandan D1. The Hoops is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-5 record. In the team's last game Dusabe had a remarkable 56.3% from 2-point range. She just recently signed at The Hoops, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Dusabe has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (5th best: 17.8ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 18.2rpg), assists (9th best: 4.1apg) and averages solid 1.8bpg and 4.2spg.

Second best performed player last round was Rosine Micomyiza (PG-1995) of league's second-best REG BBC. She is Ugandan guard in her first season at REG. In the last game Micomyiza recorded an impressive 30 points and 4 assists. Of course she led REG to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked EA Univ (#7, 3-7) 103-52. REG's second position in the standings has not changed. Her team lost just one game this season, while they won 8 matches. Micomyiza is a newcomer at REG and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Nicole Urwibutso (C-1994) of RP-IPRC Huye (#4). Urwibutso scored 19 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. She was a key player of RP-IPRC Huye, leading her team to a 95-54 easy win against UR BBC (#10, 0-9). RP-IPRC Huye needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 3 lost games. Urwibutso has a great season in Rwanda. After only 9 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.9ppg (8th best) and rebounds with 12.6rpg (8th best). She also has 1.3bpg and a FGP of 50.8%.
