Uwimpuhwe's 32-point game gives her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Henriette Uwimpuhwe had an amazing evening in the last round for Kepler BBC and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
She had the game-high 32 points adding six rebounds and five assists for Kepler in her team's victory, helping them to outclass UR Kigali (#9, 1-6) with 52-point margin 98-46. Kepler is placed at 3rd position in Rwandan D1. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Kepler will need more victories to improve their 5-2 record. In the team's last game Uwimpuhwe had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. She just recently signed at Kepler, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Uwimpuhwe has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (2nd best: 21.7ppg) and averages solid 5.5spg.

Second best performed player last round was Adeline Ihimbazwe (SG) of UR Kigali. She is a guard in her first season at UR Kigali. In the last game Ihimbazwe recorded an impressive double-double of 13 points and 26 rebounds. Of course she led UR Kigali to another comfortable win 71-55 over UR BBC (#10, 0-6) being unquestionably team leader. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But UR Kigali left the very bottom place moving slightly to 9th position. 6 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory UR Kigali managed to get this year. Ihimbazwe is a newcomer at UR Kigali and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another UR Kigali's star - Grace Ishimwe (SF). Ishimwe scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. She was another key player of UR Kigali, helping her team with a 71-55 easy win against UR BBC (#10, 0-6). UR Kigali can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-6 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Too bad for Ishimwe she does not play for a better team. But maybe if she did, her season stats would not be that high. Ishimwe has individually a great season in Rwanda. After only 7 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.4rpg (7th best).
