UR Kigali's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after six consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat UR BBC (0-6) 71-55 on Saturday. UR Kigali outrebounded UR BBC 69-47 including a 42-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for Adeline Ihimbazwe who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 26 rebounds. Grace Ishimwe contributed with 21 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Albright Mugabekazi replied with 19 points and 9 rebounds for UR BBC. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. UR Kigali (1-6) left bottom position moving up to ninth place. UR BBC at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost.
The game in was also worth to mention about. Top-ranked REG (6-0) played at the court of 8th ranked The Hoops (1-5). REG defeated The Hoops 72-59. The former international point guard Rosine Micomyiza (-1995) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Odile Tetero chipped in 11 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists during the contest. REG's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was the former international center Jane Dusabe (-2005) with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists. Undefeated REG have an impressive six-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. The Hoops lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with five games lost. They share the position with Gahini.
The game in was also quite interesting. 4th ranked RP-IPRC Huye (4-2) played at the court of fifth ranked Kepler (5-2). Kepler managed to secure a 9-point victory 65-56 on Saturday. Henriette Uwimpuhwe notched 22 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort. Even 21 points and 4 steals by Violette Uwimpuhwe did not help to save the game for RP-IPRC Huye. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Kepler have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Loser RP-IPRC Huye dropped to the fifth position with two games lost.

In the last two games of round 6 Kepler smashed UR Kigali on the road 98-46. Gahini lost to EA Univ on its own court 44-49.
The most impressive performance of 6th round was 8 points and 17 rebounds by Princess Louaka of EA Univ.

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Kepler (5-2) crushed on the road 10th ranked UR Kigali (1-6) 98-46 on Wednesday. Kepler held UR Kigali to an opponent 23.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 51.3 percent accuracy of the winners. Kepler forced 29 UR Kigali turnovers and outrebounded them 48-37 including a 31-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Kepler looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by UR Kigali's players. Henriette Uwimpuhwe notched a double-double by scoring 32 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 10 steals to lead the effort and Nelly Akariza supported her with 21 points and 9 rebounds. Even 6 points and 11 rebounds by Grace Ishimwe did not help to save the game for UR Kigali. Adeline Ihimbazwe added 7 points and 11 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kepler have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. UR Kigali lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with six games lost.
