The standout Malian power forward Kadidia Maiga picked up the Player of the Year of the championship-winning champion team REG BBC Kigali. She received multiple other awards, was named the Defensive Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year, and was voted to the First Team, Imports Team and Defensive Team. Maiga helped Maiga's team have an undefeated season as champion team REG BBC Kigali was not challenged in the league with a perfect 20 to 0 in the regular season. Her excellent performance assisted her team in beating the Kepler 4 to 3 in the final series. Maiga was the Player of the Week honoree three times during the 25 campaign. She collected multiple other honors, was selected to the First Team and Defensive Team. Akon helped Akon's team have an undefeated season as REG BBC Kigali was not challenged in the league with a perfect 20 to 0 in the regular season. Her excellent performance assisted her team in beating the Kepler 4 to 3 in the final series. Akon received Player of the Week award in the league. She registered over 14 points and almost 11 rebounds per game that season in the league. Akon has totalled 3 games of 20 or more points and had double-doubles in 9 games on the year. Her 25 points against the EA Univ were the most she scored in the 2025 season. Veronica Keita, 24-year old Beninese center from the runner-up team finalist team Kepler BBC Kigali, was chosen to the First Team at the Division 1. She received multiple other awards, was named to the Imports Team and Defensive Team. With Keita's excellent performance, the runner-up team finalist team Kepler BBC Kigali achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 17 to 3 in the regular season. Keita's best performance made her team reach the finals but they unfortunately were defeated by REG BBC Kigali 3 to 4. She recorded over 14 points per game over the season in the league. Keita was voted Player of the Week 5 times during the 25 campaign. She led the D1 in rebounds per game with over 19. Keita has totalled 4 games of 20 or more points and logged double-doubles in 14 games on the year. Her 25 points against the RP IPRC Huye were the most she scored in the 2025 season. Kadiatou Coulibaly, 35-year old Malian from the The Hoops Kigali, earned a spot in the First Team of Division 1. She was also voted to the Defensive Team. Coulibaly's best performance made her team reach the final but they were defeated by APR BBC Kigali 54 to 67. Her masterful distribution skills earned her the fifth spot in points per game with an impressive average of almost 17. Coulibaly also averaged almost 10 rebounds per game in the league. She has totalled 7 games of 20 or more points and registered double-doubles in 9 games on the year. Coulibaly's 29 points against the Azomco were the most she scored in the 2025 season. Among many awards she was selected as the Afrobasket All-FIBA African Champions Cup Honorable Mention back in 2022. The standout Malian guard Kamba Diakite was selected to the First Team of the championship-winning APR BBC Kigali. She collected multiple other honors, was chosen to the Imports Team and Defensive Team. Diakite's excellent performance assisted her team in beating the The Hoops 67 to 54 in the final. She notched almost 5 rebounds per game that season in the league. Diakite led the D1 in points per game with over 20. She has totalled 12 games of 20 or more points on the year and recorded 30 or more points in 4 games. Diakite's 41 points against the University of Rwanda were the most she scored in the 2025 season. She was selected as the Senegalese D1 All-Star Game back in 2022.
