Tokyo Hachioji Trains (B3 League) have added 26-year-old Nigerian power forward Martins Igbanu (203cm-107kg-1997, college: Tulsa) to their roster. Igbanu began the season with Niigata Albirex (B2 League), where he averaged 11.5ppg, 9.0rpg, and 1.2apg in 17 games.
In the previous season, he played for BC Boncourt (SBL) in the Swiss league.
He has also played professionally in France for Caen, Denain Voltaire, and SPO Rouen, as well as in Serbia for KK Mladost MaxBet Zemun.
His team reached the French NM1 Play-Offs Semifinals in 2022, earning him numerous accolades.
In 2020, he was honored as the All-AAC Sixth Man of the Year.
He graduated from the University of Tulsa in 2020, and this is his fourth season as a pro player.
