Ike Nwamu (ex Nancy) signs at Sokol

Sewertronics Sokol Lancut (OBL) has signed Ike Nwamu, a 30-year-old American guard who also holds a USA-Nigerian passport. Nwamu, who stands at 193cm, previously played for UNLV in college. He began this season with Sluc Nancy Basket Pro in the French Betclic ELITE ProA league, where he averaged 3.5 points per game and 1.3 apg in 12 games.
In 2016, he was drafted by the Sioux Falls Skyforce (D-League) in the first round, 22nd overall.
He graduated from the University of Nevada - Las Vegas, and this is his eighth season in professional basketball.
Three years ago, he represented the USA at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan. During that event, his stats were as follows: 3 games played, 1.0 points per game, and 1.0 apg.
He's a highly experienced player, having played professionally in Greece (Lavrio), Israel (Ironi Nes Ziona), Russia (Samara), NBA (Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks), and NBA G League (NAZ Suns, Indiana Mad Ants, and Wisconsin Herd).
In 2022, his team reached the Russian Superleague 1 Semifinals, earning them numerous awards. In 2021, he was voted as the Eurobasket.com All-Russian Superleague 1 Import Player of the Year. Prior to this, he played for colleges such as Mercer University and Cleveland State University.
