Sangare re-signs at Leganes

Aminata Sangare

Innova-TSN Leganes (LF Challenge) confirmed 23-year-old Mali forward Aminata Sangare (186cm-2002) in their roster for the upcoming 2025-26 season. She is the second foreign player in the roster, with Greek Elena Bosgana signing earlier. Sangare has played there for the last two seasons and helped them win the regular season. In 2024-25, she was named to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LF Challenge All-Defensive Team, All-Imports Team, and League Player of the Week (4 times).
She was also a member of the Mali international program for some years. Sangare played for Mali Senior National Team between 2021 and 2022 and previously for the Under 18 National Team back in 2018.
She also represented Mali at the World Cup U19 for Women in Debrecen (Hungary) four years ago. Her team got to the Semifinals and she had over 10 ppg.
Sangare has played for two other teams before: Alcobendas and Zaragoza.
Among many awards, she was voted Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LF Challenge Forward of the Year in 2024.
