Venezuela - Mali 66-88

Mali recorded the first win at the 2026 World Cup Pre-Qualifiers in Mexico. They beat Venezuela to improve at 1-1 record in Group A. Djeneba N'Diaye (163-G-1997) scored 21 points to lead the African side.
Mali sank 25 points in the first quarter to open a 10-point lead. They followed with a 25-9 rally in the second frame to secure a 50-24 halftime advantage. Venezuela exploded with 29 points in the third term to pull closer. But Mali capped the game with a 23-13 rally to ice the victory. Sira Thienou (178-F-2004) notched 18 points and 8 rebounds for Mali. Daniela Wallen tossed in 21 points for Venezuela.
