Roche sign Diana Balayera

Diana Balayera

La Roche Vendee BC (LFB) signed 28-year-old Mali international 191cm center Diana Balayera for the upcoming season. She is the second foreign player on the roster, with USA's Jade Phillips having signed earlier. Balayera played for Charnay for the last two years. In 24 LFB games in France last season, she averaged 6.9ppg and 3.8rpg. She has been a regular member of the Mali Senior National Team since 2022.
She has played previously for three other teams: Flammes, Champagne, and Bretagne.
Among many awards, her team was the regular season runner-up in French LF2 in 2020. Balayera was also voted to Eurobasket.com All-French LF2 Center of the Year in 2023.
