Caledonia Gladiators (WBBL) agreed terms with 26-year old Mali international point guard Djeneba N'Diaye (175cm-1997) for new 2023-24 season. N'Diaye is the second import player in the roster as Scottish Erin McGarrahan signed here earlier.
She played last season at Majd Tanger Basketball in Moroccan DEX-D.
The previous (2021-22) season she played at Embutidos Pajariel Bembibre PDM in Spanish LF Endesa where in 26 games she had 9.4ppg, 2.4rpg, 1.1apg and 1.3spg in that year.
She has been also a member of Mali international program for some years. She has regularly played for Mali senior team since 2015 and previously for U19 National Team back in 2015.
N'Diaye represented Mali at the African Championship in Yaounde (Cameroon) eight years ago. Her stats at that event were 8 games: 4.8ppg, 1.4rpg, 1.8spg.
She has played previously professionally in Spain (Gran Canaria) and Mali (Djoliba Athletic Club Bamako).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others her team won Mali Cup in 2018. N'Diaye was voted to Eurobasket.com All-World Championships U17 Honorable Mention back in 2014.
