The Suns let Diakite go

Mamadi Diakite

Phoenix Suns (NBA) cut 27-year old Guinean 6-9 forward Mamadi Diakite (college: Virginia). He also played for another NBA team the Grizzlies earlier that season.
He has never been drafted by the NBA.
Diakite has played previously for eight other teams: Cleveland Cavaliers, Milwaukee Bucks, NY Knicks, San Antonio Spurs, OKC Thunder, Austin Spurs, Cleveland Charge and Westchester Knicks.
Among many awards he won NBA championship title in 2021. He was voted to USBasket.com NBA G League All-Defensive Team back in 2021.
Diakite graduated from University of Virginia in 2020 and it is his fifth season as a professional player.
