Mamadi Diakite

Memphis Grizzlies (NBA) released 27-year-old Guinean forward Mamadi Diakite (6'9''-227lbs-1997, college: Virginia). Last season, he played for Knicks/55">the Knicks, but in 7 NBA games, he had just 0.3ppg. He helped them reach the conference semifinals and also played for Spurs/106">the Spurs that season. He briefly played for another NBA G League team, the Knicks.
Diakite has never been drafted by the NBA.
He has played previously for eight other NBA teams: Cleveland Cavaliers, Milwaukee Bucks, OKC Thunder, Austin Spurs, Cleveland Charge, Westchester Knicks, Osceola Magic, and Milwaukee Bucks.
Among many awards, he won an NBA championship title in 2021. Diakite was voted to USBasket.com NBA G League All-Defensive Team back in 2021.
He graduated from the University of Virginia in 2020, and it's his fifth season as a pro player.
