Hamidou Diallo joins the Wizards

Washington Wizards agreed terms with 25-year old double-passport holder Guinean shooting guard Hamidou Diallo (6'6''-1998, college: Kentucky). He has played for the last two years at Detroit Pistons. In 56 NBA games he had 9.3ppg and 3.5rpg last season.
In 2018 he was drafted by Brooklyn Nets in second round (45th overall). The former University of Kentucky star is in his sixth season in pro basketball.
He represented USA at the World Cup U19 in Cairo (Egypt) six years ago. His team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 7 games: 10.9ppg, 3.9rpg, 2.3apg, 1.1spg, FGP: 50.9%, 3PT: 20.0%, FT: 57.1%.
He has played previously for two other teams: OKC Thunder and OKC Thunder.
Diallo's college team made it to the NBA G League Winter Showcase Cup Final Four in 2022.
