Benin defeated Guinea 85-67 at the 2023 FIBA AfroCan Qualifiers. They won the first three quarters to ensure an 18-point lead. Both teams nailed 21 points each in the last stanza for the final result.
Soulemane Yo top-scored for the winners with 28 points, whilst Monra Kora netted 13. Tawadioun Mama and Vivien Tossou (180-G-1993) delivered 12 points each in a win. Mambourou Mara (194-PF-2003) answered with 18 points in the losing effort and Rene Soufiane produced 12.
