Valencia inks Shannon Evans II

Valencia-Basket (Liga Endesa) signed 28-year old American (has also Guinean passport) point guard Shannon Evans II (185cm-80kg-1994, college: Arizona State). Evans started the season at Real Betis. In 15 Liga Endesa games in Spain he had very impressive stats: 21.0ppg, 2.2rpg, 5.5apg and 1.9spg. He helped them to make it to the Supercup semifinals. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week. Evans has been regularly called to Guinean Senior National Team since 2021.
He has played also professionally in France (Pau Lacq Orthez), Hungary (Atomeromu) and Turkey (Acibadem).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his college team won MAC Tournament in 2015. Evans was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Hungarian League Guard of the Year back in 2020.
He graduated from Arizona State in 2018 and it is his fifth season as a professional player.
