Evans II re-signs at Real Betis

Shannon Evans II

Coosur Real Betis Sevilla (Liga Endesa) confirmed in their roster 28-year old American (has also Guinean passport) point guard Shannon Evans II (185cm-80kg-1994, college: Arizona State) for season 2022-23. Evans was a team leader there last season. In 34 Liga Endesa games he was league's second best scorer with impressive 17.4ppg and had 3.0rpg, 6.8apg (leader !!!) and 1.6spg (in top 2). Good season as he was named League Player of the Week and voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Liga Endesa Second Team.
The most of previous (2020-21) season he spent at Acibadem in Turkish BSL where in 18 games he recorded 11.0ppg, 2.5rpg and 4.2apg in that year. He also played for Pau Lacq Orthez in French Betclic ELITE ProA. In 5 games he averaged remarkable 21.8ppg, 2.8rpg, 8.4apg and 2.0spg in that year. Evans has been regularly called to Guinean Senior National Team since 2021.
He has played also professionally in Hungary (Atomeromu).
His college team won MAC Tournament in 2015.
Evans graduated from Arizona State in 2018 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player.
