Alpha Kaba agreed terms with Buducnost

KK Buducnost VOLI Podgorica (Erste Liga) added to their roster 25-year old Guinean-French international 208cm center Alpha Kaba for upcoming season. Kaba played this summer at Atlanta Hawks in the NBA Summer League. In 5 games just recently he recorded 4.8ppg and 3.4rpg. The last season he played at Gaziantep in Turkish BSL where in 31 games he averaged 13.6ppg, 10.3rpg, 1.3spg and 1.5bpg. Great season indeed as he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Turkish League Player of the Year, Eurobasket.com All-Turkish League Defensive Player of the Year and Import Player of the Year.
In 2017 he was drafted by Atlanta Hawks (NBA) in second round (60th overall).
He also represented Guinea at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Italy) seven years ago. Kaba's team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 10 games: 4.9ppg, 3.8rpg.
Kaba has played previously professionally in Serbia and France (Pau Lacq Orthez, ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket, JSF Nanterre and Boulazac Basket).
His team made it to the Serbian League Semifinals in 2017.
