Zempare is back at Lublin

Batabe Zempare

Polski Cukier AZS UMCS Lublin (OBLK) signed 29-year old American (has also Ghanian passport) forward Batabe Zempare (191cm-1994, college: CSUB, agency: LBM Management) for upcoming 2024-25 season. It is actually her comeback to Lublin as she has played here before. She played last season at Nunawading Spectres in Australian NBL One South South. In 22 games just recently she had very impressive stats: 16.2ppg, 10.0rpg and 2.5apg.
Zempare has played professionally in eight different countries on three different continents (Europe, Australia, and North America). She has played in Belgium (Namur), Bulgaria (Neftochimic), Finland (Huima), France (Hainaut), Hungary (Ludovika-Csata), Italy (Vigarano and Lucca), and Poland (Sosnowiec). Her team reached the Polish Final Four in 2024.
She was voted Eurobasket.com All-Belgian League Forward of the Year in 2022 among many awards.
Zempare graduated from CSU Bakersfield in 2016 and it will be her 9th season as a pro player.
