Lublin signs Batabe Zempare

Batabe Zempare

Polski Cukier AZS UMCS Lublin (OBLK) signed 29-year old American (has also Ghanian passport) forward Batabe Zempare (191cm-1994, college: CSUB, agency: LBM Management) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. She played last season at Nunawading Spectres in Australian NBL One South South. In 13 games recently she had very impressive stats: 15.3ppg, 10.2rpg and 2.8apg. The last she played at MB Zaglebie Sosnowiec. She also played 22 games in Polish OBLK where she recorded 13.3ppg, 7.4rpg and 2.1apg. Zempare helped them to make it to the Polish Cup Semifinals. Good season as she was named League Player of the Week.
She is a very experienced player. Zempare has also played professionally in Belgium (Namur), Bulgaria (Neftochimic), Finland (Huima), France (Hainaut), Hungary (Ludovika-Csata) and Italy (Vigarano and Lucca).
In addition to these achievements, she was named the Eurobasket.com All-Belgian League Forward of the Year in 2022. Her team reached the BLK Semifinals in 2023.
Zempare graduated from California State University Bakersfield in 2016 and it'll be her ninth season as a pro player.
