Namur lands Batabe Zempare

Basket Namur Capitale (Top Division Women) tabbed 26-year old American (has also Ghanian passport) 191cm forward Batabe Zempare, college: CSUB, agency: LBM Management for new season. Zempare played most recently at Csata in Hungarian A Division. In 28 games she averaged 12.5ppg, 10.5rpg (#4 in the league), 1.9apg and 1.2spg last season. She can count that year as a very successful as was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Hungarian League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week.
The previous (19-20) season she played at Gesam Gas Le Mura Lucca in Italian Serie A1 where in 19 games she had 12.4ppg, 9.2rpg (#5 in the league) and 1.3apg. Good season as she was also here selected League Player of the Week.
Zempare is a very experienced player. She has played also professionally in Bulgaria (Neftochimic), Finland (Huima), France (Hainaut) and Italy (Vigarano).
Among many awards her team made it to the WAC Tournament Semifinals for three years in a row ( between 2014 and 2016).
Zempare attended California State University Bakersfield until 2016 and it will be her sixth season in pro basketball.
