Hainaut adds Zempare to their roster

BATABE ZEMPARE

Union Saint-Amand Porte du Hainaut (LFB) added to their roster 23-year old American (has also Ghanian passport) forward Batabe Zempare (188-94, college: CSU Bakersfield, agency: LBM Management). She played last season at played at Meccanica Nova Vigarano in Italian Serie A1. In 22 games she was fourth best scorer with impressive 17.0ppg and had 12.6rpg (leader !!!), 1.1apg and 1.7spg. A very spectacular season in her career as she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Italian A1 2nd Team and League Player of the Week.
The most of previous (2016-17) season Zempare spent at Aanekosken in Finnish Korisliiga where in 13 games she recorded very remarkable stats: 16.9ppg, 12.6rpg (leader !!!), 1.2apg and 1.2spg. Great season indeed as she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Finnish League Honorable Mention. Zempare also played for Neftochimic in Bulgarian NBL that season. In three games she averaged 14.0ppg, 15.0rpg, 2.7apg and 1.0spg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Zempare's team made it to the WAC Tournament Semifinals for three years in a row (between 2014 and 2016).
She graduated from Cal State - Bakersfield in 2016 and it is her third season as a professional player.
