Top three to feature tonight in ACCRA League Women's Division

The top three teams in the 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women's Division will be in action tonight at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu. Division leaders Braves of Customs play third placed Tudu Galaxy in the second matchup of the round while second placed Ghana Navy takes on University of Ghana (UG) in the opening matchup at 17:00 GMT. All eyes will be on tertiary side UG despite the side's bottom rank in the standings due to the team's failure to show up for a tie against Tudu Galaxy in the last round; UG has subsequently been slapped with 0-20 loss for forfeiting the game. Ahead of the game, Navy is widely expected to record a win over University of Ghana with the latter in the midst of a bad run of form. The headline game of the round-between Braves and Galaxy- is set to be an interesting affair as Galaxy needs a win to give itself a chance at usurping Navy's spot in second place. Braves on the other hand can wrap up another title winning season should it beat Galaxy tonight.
