Ghana Navy, Braves headline league games in women's division

Defending Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women's Division Champions Braves of Customs will be in action on Thursday, July 27 against Ghana Navy in a headline grabbing matchup. The top tie takes place at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu after Tudu Galaxy play against Fire Service in the opening game at 17:00 GMT. The upcoming round of games sizes a pair of winners in the last round of league games against each other and a pair of losers against each other in the last round played on July 20 at the same venue. Braves topped Galaxy 44-18 as Navy went past University of Ghana (UG) courtesy a 53-26 win over the tertiary side. With Navy gaining grounds on Navy in the battle for second place in the standings, a win is a must for the team to maintain its pursuit of leaders Braves. Having already lost to Navy, Braves will be hoping to repeat a similar performance against the Mariners same way it did against Galaxy.
