Vigarano signs Batabe Zempare

Batabe Zempare

Meccanica Nova Vigarano (Serie A1) signed 23-year old American (has also Ghanian passport) forward Batabe Zempare (188-94, college: CSU Bakersfield, agency: LBM Management). She played last season at Huima in Finnish SM-sarja. In 13 games she had very impressive stats: 16.9ppg, 12.6rpg (leader !!!), 1.2apg and 1.2spg. Great season as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-Finnish League Honorable Mention. Zempare also played that season for Neftochimic in Bulgarian NBL where in three games she recorded 14.0ppg, 15.0rpg, 2.7apg and 1.0spg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Zempare's team made it to the WAC Tournament Semifinals for three years in a row (between 2014 and 2016). She was also voted All-WAC 1st Team in 2016 at her college time.
Zempare graduated from Cal State - Bakersfield in 2016 and it is her second season as a professional player.
