Esparreguera inks Omaru Toure

Tenea CB - Esparreguera (1Div) has agreed terms with 30-year-old double-passport holder Gambian forward Omaru Toure (199cm-1994) for the new 2024-25 season. He has played for the last two years at Homs Rentals UE Mataro in the LEB Silver. In 26 games, he had 4.0ppg and 5.8rpg last season. 1Div will be definitely a better match, and he can see more playing time. He also played for another Spanish team, Homs Rentals UE Mataro (LEB Silver).
Toure has played for two other teams before: Vic and Arenys.
Among many awards, his team was the regular season runner-up in Spanish EBA Group C-1 in 2023. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish EBA Honorable Mention back in 2020.
