NINERS Chemnitz (BBL) have signed 35-year-old American power forward Ousman Krubally, who also holds a Gambian passport. Krubally, who played college basketball at Georgia State and is represented by Octagon Europe, began this season with Bnei Hertzeliya in the Israeli Winner League. Last season, he played for Keravnos in the Cypriot OPAP Basket League, where he had an impressive performance in multiple competitions. In 28 Cypriot OPAP Basket League games, he averaged 12.8 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game. He helped his team win the Supercup and reach the league final. Krubally received several accolades for his outstanding season, including Eurobasket.com All-Cyprus League Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Center of the Year. He also played 12 games in the FIBA Europe Cup, where he averaged 17.2 points, 11.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. He's a highly experienced player who has traveled extensively throughout his professional career, playing in nine different countries across Europe, Asia, and North America. He has previously played professionally in Cyprus, France (Le Portel), Greece (PAOK Mateco Thessaloniki, Lavrio, and Larissa BC), Holland (Den Helder), Italy (Pistoia, Umana Venezia, Brindisi, and Legnano), Kazakhstan (Astana), Slovenia (Grosuplje), and the United Kingdom (Rebels).
He won the Kazakhstan League championship title in 2017.
He graduated from Georgia State University in 2010, and this year marks his 14th season in professional basketball.
