Toure re-signs at Homs Rentals UE Mataro

Omaru Toure

Homs Rentals UE Mataro (LEB Silver) confirmed in their roster 29-year old naturalized Gambian forward Omaru Toure (199cm-1994) for upcoming 2023-24 season. Toure is the second import player in the roster as Senegalese Pape Bocar Sall signed here earlier.
He played there last season. In 28 EBA games he had 9.1ppg, 9.9rpg and 1.4apg. He helped them to win the group title despite they ended the regular season at the second place.
The previous (2021-22) season he played at CB Universitat Vic (also in EBA) where in 19 games he recorded 9.1ppg, 11.3rpg (#5 in the league), 1.3apg and 1.2spg in that year.
He has played previously for Spanish team Arenys.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish EBA Honorable Mention back in 2020.
