Gijon Basket lands Papa Njie

Corinto Gijon Basket (EBA) tabbed 20-year old Gambian 205cm power forward Papa Njie for new season. Njie is not a newcomer in Spanish League as he played most recently at Filipenses in Spanish EBA league. In 15 games he averaged 8.8ppg and 9.3rpg last season. He also played for Corazon that season where in 9 EBA games he had 4.4ppg and 5.8rpg.
Njie has played previously for two other teams: Estudiantes Lugo Leyma Natura and Venta de Banos.
