Babacar Mbye agreed terms with ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket

ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (Jeep ELITE ProA) strengthened their roster with addition of 19-year old Gambian 213cm center Babacar Mbye for upcoming season. Mbye played most recently at Boulazac Basket Dordogne. But in 13 Jeep ELITE ProA games in France he recorded just 1.7ppg and 1.3rpg (leader !!!) last season.
He has played also professionally in Spain (Spanish Basketball Academy and Spanish Basketball Academy U17 Team).
Despite young age he had impressive career. Mbye was voted to Eurobasket.com All- ProA U21 Honorable Mention in 2021.
