Sonko re-signs at Maurienne

Moses Sonko

Aix-Maurienne Savoie Basket (ProB) confirmed in their roster 33-year old Gambian forward Moses Sonko (197-83, college: Co.Carolina, agency: HMS). He played there last season. In 10 ProB games he recorded 10.4ppg, 6.6rpg and 2.3apg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Sonko won Angolan League championship title in 2014. He was also voted Afrobasket.com All-Angolan League 1st Team in 2014.
Sonko is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in four different countries. Sonko tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Africa and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Israel (Hapoel Yokneam/Megido), Switzerland, France (JL Bourg, Quimper UJAP and Boulazac Basket) and Angola (Libolo).
Sonko attended Coastal Carolina College until 2007 and it will be his tenth season as a professional player.
