Vichy Clermont signs Brice Eyaga

Jean D'Arc Vichy Clermont Metropole (ProB) signed 25-year-old Gabonese center Brice Eyaga (205cm-1998) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. He is the second foreign player on the roster, with Senegalese Pape Diop having signed earlier. Eyaga played last season at Pont-de-Cheruy in the NM1. In 37 games, he averaged 14.1ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.4apg, 1.1spg, and 1.4bpg. He had a good season and was named League Player of the Week.
He has played previously professionally in Cameroon (Forces Armees et Police Basketball de Yaounde) and Gabon (Manga).
Among many awards, his team made it to the Basketball Africa League Semifinals in 2022. He was voted to Afrobasket.com Basketball Africa League All-Defensive Team in 2022.
