Gabon nipped Chad 54-52 in Yaounde at the 2023 AfroCan Qualifiers. They ensured a 15-8 lead at the start, whilst the opponents replied with a 22-10 surge in the second frame. Gabon needed a 16-11 run in the third quarter and 13-11 rally in the last to seal the win.
