2023 AfroCan Qualifiers: Cameroon edge Gabon in Yaounde

Cameroon edged Gabon 80-71 in Yaounde at the 2023 AfroCan Qualifiers. The hosts grabbed a 27-20 lead at the start and added massive 21-13 run in the second period. Gabon replied with a 23-15 rally in the third quarter, whilst Cameroon closed the game with a 17-15 run.
Etienne Kalume top-scored for the winners with 19 points, while Engelbert Beleck (192-PF-1998) notched 16. Junior Loussi (2001) and Lerry Essono Mve (199-F-1992) replied with 13 points each in the losing effort.
