Chris Silva added to the roster of The Timberwolves

Minnesota Timberwolves (NBA) strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old Gabonese 6-9 power forward Chris Silva (college: S.Carolina). Silva is the second import player in the roster as Argentinian Leandro Bolmaro signed here earlier.
He already started the season at Iowa Wolves. In 12 NBA G League games he recorded very impressive stats: 15.1ppg, 9.8rpg, 1.8apg and 1.2spg.
He has never been drafted by the NBA. He was a member of Gabonese Senior National Team back in 2015.
Silva has played previously for four other NBA teams: Miami Heat, Sioux Falls Skyforce, Sacramento Kings and Brooklyn Nets.
Among many awards he played in the final of NBA in 2020. He was voted to All-SEC 1st Team between 2018 and 2019 at his college time.
He attended University of South Carolina until 2019 and it is his third season in pro basketball.
