Alexandria looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The former international forward Hagar Amer (184-1993) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and American-Senegalese guard Cierra Dillard (176-1996, college: Buffalo, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 15 points and 9 assists. At the losing side American-South Sudanese forward Rose Macuei (187-2000) responded with 15 points and 9 rebounds and the former international point guard Radwa Oweis (165-1999) scored 10 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Al Ahly's coach Tarek Abouzeid rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win.
