Al Gezira had a 34-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The former international center Khadiga Abouelghait (190-2007) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Kenzy Khorshed (170-2005) accounted for 15 points and 4 assists. Farida Mossad (177-2003) came up with 16 points and the former international point guard Yousra Taha (169-1995) added 5 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Heliopolis in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
