Katshitshi re-signs at Trieste

Futurosa Trieste (Serie A2) confirmed in their roster 27-year old DR Congolese center Lydie Katshitshi (186cm-1998) for the upcoming 2026-27 season. She played there last season. In 25 Serie A2 games, she had 9.7ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.2apg, and 1.2spg. 2025-26 was a great season as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A2 All-Imports Team.
She has played previously for three other teams: Udine, Scrivia, and Moncalieri.
Among many awards, her team won the Italian Serie A2 Cup in 2024. Katshitshi was also voted the Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A2 Import Player of the Year in 2024.
