Johnathan Jordan agreed terms with Al Ahly Cairo

Defending champion Al Ahly Cairo (Superleague) added 33-year-old American (who also has a DR Congolese passport) 178cm point guard Johnathan Jordan (college: TAMUCC, agency: Slash Sports) to their roster. He has been a regular member of theDR Congolese National Team since 2025.

Jordan, a very experienced player, has played professionally on three different continents (Europe, Africa, and North America) in ten different countries. He has played for teams in Belgium (Liege Basket), Finland (Vilpas), Germany (Tigers), Morocco (FUS Rabat), Poland (Miasto Szkla), Romania (CS Municipal Ploiesti), Serbia (Zdravlje and KK Tamis Pancevo), Libya (Ahly Benghazi), NBA G League (College Park SkyHawks, Delaware Blue Coats, and Raptors 905 Mississauga), and The Basketball Tournament (LS Legends).

Among many awards, his team won the Moroccan Throne Cup in 2025. Jordan was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Belgian League Honorable Mention back in 2018.

He graduated from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi in 2015 and this will be his eleventh season in pro basketball.
