Molina lands Herve Kabasele

Sercomosa Molina Basket (Segunda FEB) has signed 29-year-old DR Congolese ex-international 208cm center Herve Kabasele, who is represented by BAGENCY CSA. Kabasele, who previously played for Melilla Ciudad del Deporte in Spanish Primera FEB, averaged 11.6ppg and 4.7rpg in 18 Segunda FEB games last season. He is expected to have a better match in Segunda FEB and receive more playing time. Kabasele helped his team reach the Spanish Segunda FEB final after finishing the regular season as the second-best team. He had a successful year and was named to the Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Segunda FEB Second Team. Kabasele also has experience playing for Grupo Alega Cantabria Torrelavega in Primera FEB.
Kabasele represented DR Congo at the FIBA World Cup 2023 African Qualifiers three years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 2.2 points per game and had 2 rebounds per game.
He has played previously in Spain between teams like Breogan Lugo, Valladolid, Real Canoe, and Oviedo, as well as during his time in the NBA G League with Erie BH.
Among many awards, he won the Spanish League championship title in 2018. Kabasele was selected to Afrobasket.com All-Afrobasket Championship Honorable Mention back in 2017.
