Kriol Star welcomes back Ntambwe, ex ASB NG

Kriol Star (Praia League) inked 27-year old DR Congolese-Belgian ex-international 203cm forward Joel Ntambwe (college: Texas Tech). It is actually his comeback to Praia as he has played here before. He started the season at ASB New Generation in DR Congolese D1 league. The last season season he played at Kriol Star.
In 2021 he was drafted by Sioux Falls Skyforce (G-League) in third round (13th overall).
The former Texas Tech University standout is in his fifth season in pro basketball. He was a member of DR Congolese Senior National Team between 2021 and 2022.
Ntambwe is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in USA, Central Africa (Abeilles), NBA G League (Delaware Blue Coats) and NBA Summer League (GS Warriors).
Ntambwe played in the final of NBA G League in 2022. He played also for University of Nevada - Las Vegas for one year.
