La Roda welcomes back Mukendi

Gullit Mukendi

Fundacion Globalcaja La Roda (Tercera FEB) signed 29-year-old DR Congolese ex-international 206cm center Gullit Mukendi, agency: Promo Sport ID for the new season. It is his return to La Roda as he has previously played there. He is a well-known player in the Spanish Tercera FEB, most recently playing for Avenida where he averaged 8.8ppg and 5.2rpg in 18 games last season. He also played for Caja 1987 Baloncesto (Segunda FEB). Mukendi represented the DR Congolese Senior National Team between 2017 and 2023.
He has played previously for eight other teams: La Leonesa, Valladolid, Estudiantes Lugo Rio de Galicia, Ponferrada, Rosalia, Torta del Casar, Moron, and Azuqueca.
Mukendi won the Spanish LEB Silver Play-Off championship title in 2017.
